These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Model Haven (the "Site"), operated by Mr Edward Matthew Lewis, trading as Ed Lewis Photography and Model Haven ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

You must be at least 18 years old to register an account, appear as a model on the Site, or take part in any shoot arranged through the Site. We do not permit accounts, profiles, or content involving anyone under 18, under any circumstances.
Model applicants must provide genuine identity documents as part of registration, solely for age verification. See our Privacy Policy for how these documents are handled and deleted.
By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, that any images you submit are genuinely of yourself, and that you are legally entitled to enter into these Terms.
The Site is an introduction and directory platform that helps models, photographers, agents, and other industry professionals find one another, arrange photoshoots, and manage related paperwork (such as model release agreements).
We are not a party to any shoot, booking, or agreement arranged through the Site. Agreements reached between models, photographers, agents, and other participants are solely between those parties. We do not vet the professional conduct of members beyond the checks described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy, and we accept no liability for how any shoot is actually conducted, for payment or compensation disputes between parties, or for the acts or omissions of any user.
Where the Site generates a PDF agreement for a shoot, that document records the terms the participants agreed to arrange between themselves — it does not make us a party to that agreement.
Accounts are personal to you and must not be shared. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account.
Where the Site supports multi-party or group shoots, every participant must be a genuine, registered account before they can be treated as confirmed on that shoot — nobody may be added to a confirmed shoot anonymously or without the other participants being able to see who they are. Models and agents must individually confirm and sign for each shoot they take part in; adding or removing a participant after signatures are collected will require everyone to re-confirm.
A narrow exception exists for the site operator only, to record a booking with someone who does not wish to hold a platform account (for example, a private or off-platform shoot). This option is not available to other users and is always clearly marked as recorded on the operator's own attestation rather than as a self-service signature.
You retain ownership of the photos, biography text, and other content you upload. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display it on the Site for the purpose of operating your profile and the directory — for example, on your public profile, in search/directory listings, and in shoot-related materials such as comp cards.
This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except where we're required to retain something for a limited period for legal, safety, or record-keeping reasons (see our Privacy Policy for retention details).
You confirm that you own or have the necessary rights to everything you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
You must not use the Site to:
We may investigate reported breaches of these standards, and reserve the right to remove content or restrict accounts pending that investigation.
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, provided false information (including about your age or identity), or put another user's safety at risk. Where practical, we will tell you why.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when you do.
The Site is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will result in any particular booking, opportunity, or outcome for any user.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses, and for any loss arising from the conduct of another user, a shoot arranged through the Site, or reliance on information supplied by another user. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example as the Site's features change. We'll update the "last updated" date above, and where a change is significant we'll try to let registered users know.
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, except where mandatory consumer protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
